Changes have been slowly happening here at of the land & us, as you may or may not have noticed. Over the past couple of years, we have freshened up our look several times and made small but gradual changes to the way we do things, always trying to improve and make things better so that we can make the best commitment we can to supporting you, the creatives that choose to allow us to share your brilliant work.
We won’t lie – it has been a challenge to keep this going regularly and we could never quite find the time needed to run it the way we really wanted to. There were often times where it seemed that there wasn’t much point to carrying on with this journal.
However, the connection we found and relationships we’ve formed with you all have been so worth it, and we realised that if it wasn’t working, we’d have to find ways to change things for the better before we could call it quits.
Now, we’re excited to reveal our next evolution; of the land & us will become a bi-monthly digital journal.
We’ll be changing the way we do things to become similar to a traditional print journal, but remain fully digital. While we’ve had dreams of becoming a print journal since day one, we’re not quite there yet.
We’re so ready to shed our previous skin though, and incredibly excited to experiment with this new form which will enable us to commit our time better to this journal, and you.
We’re so delighted now to announce our inaugural issue of our new digital journal!
